Like the final movement of the symphony, “Birds Fly West” reflects on the songs before it with sections of effortless band playing, complicated harmonies, and impassioned expansion. The lyrics on this song are again, exploring the feelings of a new romance; and describe the new perspective I have on the world now that there is someone who cares for me.
